The UR series  units basically consist of a pneumatic cylinder with hydraulic decelerators of end of stroke by gradual closing.The system solves the problem connected with the absorption of the dynamic mass power. It is an alternative, for effectiveness, to the pneumatic cylinders with special decelerations cones.
